My interest in photography began with a small, inexpensive film camera photographing willing, sometimes unwilling, family members.  Film cameras were exchanged for digital cameras with all their benefits and frustrations.  Classes and workshops in digital photography helped me make the film to digital transition.  Classes in computer art taught me layering techniques that further developed my vision and mood for an image.  Now, my camera captures a moment; my computer helps define the moment.

I sometimes like to incorporate design elements into my photos.  It's intentional when my work fades off into a white space.  I like to use white as part of the design element, or sometimes heavy black as part of the mood for an image.

I hope you enjoy seeing what I see.
